Good Samaritan Medical Center’s Midtown Imaging Locations in Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach, and the Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center at Victor Farris are Open with Safety Standards in Place

Jun 18, 2020

Good Samaritan Medical Center’s Midtown Imaging locations in West Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens resume services for patients requiring diagnostic imaging studies with safety standards in place.  These standards are built upon deep clinical expertise, as well as continuous incorporation of CDC, CMS, and state recommendations. They are a rigorous combination of infection prevention processes, training, testing, personal protective equipment and technology.  It is critical for patients to reschedule screening appointments that may have been missed or postponed.

In addition to the Midtown location openings, Good Samaritan Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center, located inside the Victor Farris Building on the first floor, remains open to serve the community and offers diagnostic services with safety standards in place to protect both the patients and staff.

“We understand that social distancing and state orders may have caused patients to miss or delay regularly scheduled diagnostic imaging appointments that can now be rescheduled at two of our Midtown Imaging Centers, or at our Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center inside the Victor Farris building,” said Sheri Montgomery, acting chief executive officer at Good Samaritan Medical Center.  “Our phased approach of re-opening up these two Midtown locations first, complemented by the outpatient services offered at our main campus, are designed to ensure all safety protocols are in place to protect our patients.”

Good Samaritan’s Midtown Imaging Centers, and the Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center inside the Victor Farris building, are part of the Palm Beach Health Network.  Producing quality images and employing skilled and experienced staff are the cornerstones of excellent medical care at Midtown. The technologies provided can result in earlier and more accurate diagnoses. The centers specialize in advanced diagnostic imaging equipment including CT scans, MRIs, mammograms, ultrasounds, and X-rays. All of the services performed are in a safe, friendly, and patient-centered environment.

“Since March, many people have delayed tests or screenings that they would have ordinarily already had to detect a life-threatening disease.  With the safety protocols we have implemented, now is the time to seek care,” said Dr. Ross Lieberfarb, medical director of the Division of Diagnostic Imaging at Good Samaritan Medical Center.  “We have taken the appropriate steps, and we have the supplies needed to offer imaging studies in a safe, convenient environment for our patients and community.”

To make an appointment at one of the Midtown centers, call our Palm Beach Gardens location at 561-625-4441, or our West Palm Beach location at 561-697-3001.  To make an appointment at the Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Center inside the Victor Farris building, call 561-650-6441.
