GSMC Appoints New Director of Cardiovascular Services

West Palm Beach, Fla. (April 24, 2018) – Good Samaritan Medical Center congratulates Dora-Jean Charles on her new position as director of cardiovascular and interventional services. In this role, Charles will be responsible for overseeing the dedicated care of patients with cardiac health conditions.

“Dora-Jean has a very strong background in both cardiac medicine and cardiac surgical care,” said Tara McCoy, CEO. “Her expertise will benefit our cardiac program and continue to enhance Good Samaritan Medical Center.”

Prior to her arrival at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Charles was the clinical manager of the Cauterization, EP Lab, and Hybrid OR at sister hospital, Delray Medical Center.  There she developed and oversaw the continuum of care for cardiovascular services including the Structural Heart Program and all hybrid procedures.   

Charles received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida and her Bachelor’s Degree from South University.
