Good Samaritan Medical Center Announces Medical Director Appointments for Clinical Informatics and Breast Institute

West Palm Beach, Fla. - August 2, 2019 - Good Samaritan Medical Center announces the following medical director appointments:

Kimmerle CohenDr. K.C. Cohen: Medical Director of Clinical Informatics

Dr. John Rimmer: Medical Director for the Breast Institute

In her new role, Dr. Cohen will collaborate with physicians, nursing, and clinical leadership and will train staff as it pertains to the usage of clinical applications. Dr. Cohen is a board certified oncologic and hepatobiliary surgeon specializing in general and oncologic surgery.

Dr. Rimmer, will lead the direction and provide strategic, medical, and scientific leadership for the Breast Institute. Dr. Rimmer is a board certified breast surgeon specializing in breast cancer surgical management. Dr. Rimmer has over 30 years of surgical experience in the field of breast health.

John RimmerThe Breast Institute offers low-dose screening and diagnostic mammography, breast cancer surgery, stereotactic biopsy, ultrasound, CT scanning, PET-CT, bone densitometry, genetic testing and counseling, and support groups for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients or patients with advanced breast cancer.

Dr. Cohen holds a BSA in Biology from the University of Georgia, and earned her M.D. in Allopathic Medicine from American University of the Caribbean.

Dr. Rimmer earned his undergraduate degree from Guy’s Hospital Medical School in London, England and his medical degree from King’s College Hospital Medical School in London, England.
