Dr. Quimby uses part of patient's shoulder for face reconstruction

Two years ago, celebrating her recent graduation from the University of Tennessee, Jupiter-native Amber Roth was visiting Helen, Georgia. Afterall, her middle name is Helen.

There was a car crash in front of her, flinging a pickup truck's tailgate through her windshield, critically injuring her and damaging her face.

Two weeks ago, Dr. Anastasia Quimby, with the help of Dr. James Azzi, took part of Amber's shoulder blade and inserted it into her face. On Wednesday, Dr. Quimby and Amber talked to WPBF 25 News about her recovery.
