Heart & Vascular Treatments
Atrial Fibrillation Ablation
An ablation involves threading a long, thin, flexible tube called a catheter into the heart through a blood vessel in the arm, upper thigh or neck. Live X-ray images are used to carefully guide the catheter into the heart.
Several flexible tubes with electrodes on the tips are run through the catheter and placed in different small blood vessels in the heart.
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Some patients may benefit from minimally invasive procedures like cardiac catheterization. In the Cath Lab, we can diagnose and treat many issues.
Procedures performed in the Cath Lab
- Balloon angioplasty
- Coronary and left ventricular digital angiography
- Coronary intravascular ultrasound
- Right and left heart catheterization
- Rotational atherectomy
- Stent implantation
- Thrombectomy
Electrophysiology Lab
Since heart function is a complex matter, electrophysiology studies your heart’s electrical system.
Procedures performed in the lab by our highly-trained electrophysiologists:
- Catheter ablation
- Electrophysiology study
- Evaluation and treatment of arrhythmias
- Implantation and management of pacemakers and cardioverter-defibrillators (ICD)
- Intracardiac echocardiograms (ICE)
- Management of antiarrhythmic medications
Chest Pain Center
If you or someone you know may be having a heart attack, don’t delay care. Our staff in the Chest Pain Center is prepared to provide a rapid response in the event of heart emergencies.
Other Heart and Vascular Treatments
- Angioplasty
- Artificial Heart Valve Surgery
- Atherectomy
- Bypass Surgery
- Cardioversion
- Stent Procedure
- Vascular Surgery
