Meet Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Saurabh Sanon, MD

Dr. Saurabh Sanon is an interventional cardiologist on staff at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. Sanon brings with him expertise in leading edge cardiovascular technology including transcatheter aortic value replacement (TAVR), transcatheter mitral valve repair (MitraClip®) and left atrial appendage occlusion in addition to percutaneous coronary intervention. His special interest is structural heart interventions, such as TAVR, paravalvular leak repair, balloon valuloplasty, percutaneous valve repair and implantation and other similar therapies. Dr. Sanon earned his medical degree at Government Medical College in Nagpur, India, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Sanon did his fellowships at the University of Texas Health Science Center, in San Antonio, Texas for Cardiology, and the Mayo Clinic, in Rochester, MN, for Interventional Cardiology and Advanced Structural Interventional Cardiology.
