GSMC Appoints New Administrative Director of Clinical Operations

West Palm Beach, Fla. (January 8, 2018) – Good Samaritan Medical Center promotes Melissa Leamon to the position of Administrative Director of Clinical Operations. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations including, education, nursing supervision, the PICC team, clinical informatics and the intensive care unit.  Leamon will also focus heavily on patient experience; improve efficiencies of care and clinical program development.

Prior to her most recent appointment at Good Samaritan, Leamon served as the director of the intensive care unit.  Before joining the team at Good Samaritan, Leamon was the clinical manager of the neuro ICU at sister hospital Delray Medical Center.  
Leamon received her AS in Nursing at Palm Beach Community College.  She then received her BSN in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University.  Leamon is certified in both stroke care and adult critical care.
