Find A Robotic Surgeon, Call 877-91-ROBOT

Good Samaritan Medical Center surgeons are using robotic surgery technologies for thoracic procedures. This minimally invasive approach has started to change the way surgeons operate inside the chest, especially in the lungs and esophagus.

Using the Vinci System, thymectomies and other potentially traumatic procedures may be performed through 1-2 cm incisions, without spreading or cutting the breastbone or ribs, thereby minimizing blood loss, pain, and scarring.

Thoracic robotics procedures may include:

  • Thymectomy
  • Lobectomy
  • Esophagectomy
