Some procedures that once required extensive surgery and long hospital stays can now be performed in one morning. That is why we designed the Good Samaritan Outpatient Surgery Center located in the Victor W. Farris Medical Building on the Good Samaritan campus.

The Good Samaritan Outpatient Surgery Center specializes in minimally invasive surgery that is designed to be less invasive and require shorter recuperation periods. In many cases, you will be able to have surgery in the morning and return home that same afternoon.

The facilities and technology available include laser surgery, endoscopy, laparoscopy, microsurgery and sports medicine procedures such as arthroscopies.

The Outpatient Surgery Center offers seven complete operating rooms, including:
 - a room specially designed for ophthalmological procedures
 - a three-room, gastro-intestinal endoscopy suite
 - a dedicated pain-management room

We also offer recovery suites that are large and completely private, so those accompanying patients are able to stay with them until departure for home.

The anesthesiology and pain-management capabilities provided are geared to the specialized needs of the outpatient and board-certified anesthesiologists staff our center.
