I CAN COPE This class series helps patients, families and friends cope with the physical and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis. Doctors, nurses, social workers, and community representatives address a variety of important issues. .
LOOK GOOD… FEEL BETTER This free public service program teaches female cancer patients beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The program is provided in conjunction with the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation and the National Cosmetology Association
MAN TO MAN An educational and support program that helps men and their families cope with prostate cancer. Some areas offer a group program for family members of men with prostate cancer and a visitation program.
REACH TO RECOVERY This outreach program supports women dealing with the emotional and physical effects of breast cancer. Volunteer breast cancer survivors visit patients to answer questions. Early support is available for women who have detected a breast lump and seek information.
